Carlos Tavares, Chairman of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Managing Board, presented last week the 2014-2018 “Back in the Race” roadmap designed to accelerate the Group’s recovery.
Responding to a question about Peugeot's potential return to the USA, Tavares said Peugeot must first achieve four target goals, after which "we can then look at the next steps we should take."
“Back in the Race” is built around four operational objectives:
- DS, Peugeot and Citroën, three brands that are recognised around the world
- A focused, targeted global product plan more aligned with market demand
- A drive for profitable international growth accordance with the fundamentals of the automobile business
- Upgrading to improve competitiveness, especially in Europe
